musings of a 2 year old

I want to start writing posts for our family with all the funny things claire is saying. so if you see this title of a post...you will know it is my quoting the famous claire bear caldwell

(all she does is look at books these days, for hours!)

this morning she ran into our room and was holding a stuffed tiger and said

" hey guys what's up?"

yesterday we were waiting at the Us embassy in lebanon. she first told me

"mama, this is cozy" it was a very SMALL waiting room. i laughed and told her all we needed was a fire and some hot drinks.

then she said "waiting for Dr. mamma?" and i told her it was kind of like waiting for a Dr.

She told me she wanted oatmeal this week for breakfast because "it is warm and cozy inside"

drew was changing her diaper and she said " layla loves this man!"

she was saying all day Sunday " layla is amazing"

she told me she was "sky-ad" ( she wanted to see Rivers White)

when i asked her what that meant she kept repeating and finally said- happy mama! oh! "excited"!
