lessons learned.

we were invited to spend some time with our beloved Molls on their family get-away in the mountains. rem wanted a skiing buddy and so we thought " why not?"we are the flexible, spontaneous, memory-making fam. let's seize the day and go to the mountains mid-week and have a blast.

we left after our meeting at 5:30pm. it was dark. and raining. we did not think it through. lesson learned. fast forward to dark, stormy mountain drive with cooped up babes in the car. it was awful. stressful. crazy scary. we tried to keep our cool cause that was the only thing we felt in control of.

i would have cried but i was too stressed, seriously.

But we did make it to the cabin, our chalet, eventually... and the molls showered us with love, caramel bars, hot drinks and fun.

and the bear got more time in the snow.
