When spring delivers the most perfect Easter day

We thought this one out well, girlies. We planned ahead so the stress level was minimum, even choosing easier brunch items so that the morning did not feel completely overwhelming.

And while dressing, cooking, and finding shoes and accessories for three little tooters has somewhat of a wild and free feel, the brunch was perfect. T

The bustle, the kids darting about, the toddlers eating off of every plate except for their own, the parents excitedly eating cinnamon rolls and nutella coffee cake, and sipping lattes...we were set.

And then we piled in cars and set off to the baabda forest, that the Lebeaus have been raving about. We arrived and the weather was completely incredible. The sun was soaking the earth and us in warm rays, but in the shade there was a coolness that made you even want a cardigan. We began a small hike into the woods and some of us ran off ahead to hide the eggs.

We found a perfect set up and had two levels ready- one for older kiddos and one for toddling tooters.

After being released to run, the older kids laughed and shouted and ran all over searching for these eggs. Of course there were some tears, and even some falls, there has to be. But nothing a little sugar would not cure.

Then we endeavored for family pictures, which was the thorn in your flesh, little ones. But we have to, we just have to.

the team...

The dogs that apparently roam the wilderness, their owners the keepers of the forest, thoroughly entertained us.

sweet fia girl loving on the dog...

Layla ate one too many pieces of chocolate and was quite emotional and tearful. She fell and skimmed her arm, and that was hard to not fixate on, ahem. Fia was a delight. She chased around her wild “bwothers” and was running so fast with her eyes fixed on the boys I held my breath just waiting for her to bite it.

Distracting Layla from her funk, Papa Mike took her on a princess adventure hike, and the boys chased her down , with Fia following them. Fia wanted to pet the dog, throw the frisebee, kiss the one year olds, and run after the boys. It was adorable.

So enjoyable having my girls and parents together for this Easter...

Hope was content being held and kissed and kept pointing to the dogs and laughing. She LOVES animals.

Full of love for the one Who gave us HIs life!
