best moments this month

don't want to forget some of these memories...

Fifi-

Watching you sing so passionately in the car that you almost looked angry for Hope Bird... how hope was laughing and waving her arms. she loves your passion as much as i do.

" di N  G   O and dingo was his name- O!!!!"

your stories when we play the Princess spinner game.

when i have snuck up on you pretending to be a mean witch. your face and they way you hunch over and move your hands around.

how much you adored your date with your baba. how clear it is that you are quality time and love special undivided attention.

how you talk about your friends at school just like your big sister. how you talk about "how much day donna miss me" if you are not there.

how you ran in and hugged layla when she was crying because she was scared of the dark. no matter that the house was pitch black and you could not see anything. you wanted to comfort her.

how when Layla was throwing a fit one morning about going to school you ran after her. you asked first " mama is jude donna be there?"  Then you ran after her and tried comforting her- layla jude and celena are donna miss you SOOO bad if you don't go. "

watching your little fierce heart love people. how you told Ken " i love you" after only being with him for a little bit. your hug and snuggles and love melt.peoples. hearts.

you wanting to hear people's "lows" at dinner... such a compassionate heart.

Alousha-

your sweet smiles are the greatest way to start my morning. you cooing and talking and then lighting up when you see me..what a way to be greeted.

your give away you smiles and giggles freely. If anyone tries, even just a little, you will give them some loving...

you are soooooo happy and easy, and all you require is our presence. you want us in the same room. if the girls are playing doll house i can plop  you down next to them and you will be happy. that is what you want.

at the Nursery you go to on Wednesdays they love you, the baby-sitters call you an "angel", and our even our team members just want to hold and kiss on you!

you add so much to each day. your cuddles, your giggles, your belly laugh, your hugs and just watching your sisters delight in you weave a thread of real.baby. gold into each day. i am savoring you sweet Alia Hope.

LULU-

Your bright eyes taking in our first movie. the screen size, the sound. the fact that is was a musical and had little girls and a dog. being close so i could hear your gasps and you could grab my hand. Getting swept into the music with you... the end where you are sitting on my lap and we can hardly contain ourselves as we snap, clap, and bounce to the music together.

 love moments with you.

your questions about crime, police and order. how we talked through the pro's and cons of having police you can rely on.

Watching you want to take care and play with Ellie and Gwyn more and more.

seeing your joy and relief on your face when you saw that i was there for grandparents day before you had to perform with your classmates. your pretty face and braids and how you sang out strongly in English, French, and Arabic.

Our extended cuddle times at bed times where your chattiness comes out and you tell my what ballet positions you don't like, what story lines  you played with your friends on the playground

how one of your biggest comforts when something is hard - is if this same thing was hard for Baba or I when we were children.

love how freely you sing and dance when no one is looking. how you sing about God's love

and  our Family....

watching Annie a second time ( well ok, if i am honest, a 3rd time for me) as a family- how we all erupted into dancing in the end, we just could not help it. how you both wanted to act out specific scenes and how much giggling and magic was in that moment.

Family game nights. all of sitting on the floor and trying to find the lost puppies or gather families through our cards.

When Layla taught us ballet class...Your focus and determination to keep unruly Ramy ( baba) in line.
