Christmas Eve

The team had our annual Fancy Christmas Eve party...with fancy appetizers and desserts.

fun to dress everyone up, even more fun when you have a fancy nancy sister to help.

help in every way, as in even does my hair...
Family Pics are pretty hard to come by..

So we give in and go natural...

We wanted to make the children more central, so we came up with some creative activities...

We all drew names and then decorated paper ornaments and told the person we had drawn what we loved about them. Layla drew Sophia and sweet girl listened so intently when layla said what she loved about her. she did not put down that paper ornament all night and even slept with it.

 Pin the nose on rudolph...

We also dimmed the lights and sang carols. which was my favorite moment.

Singing out truths that are so powerful and articulate the Glory of what God gave us in Jesus.

Layla sat in my lap and isaac nestled close and they both sang really loud and i loved having my voice actually join with theirs.

Cathleen made shakers for the kids and they loved getting to play along as we sang faster songs.

Fancy...dancing...carols...cuties.... it was a fun time!
