camping / our new home..

We are so blessed and excited to be able to rent a house up in the Bekaa along with the Johnsons. We have been piling up in our car and going up most weekends- a crazy mountain road drive, that we honestly pray for protection before each ascent. =)

 Layla usually falls asleep on the way, Sophia is here singing her heart out to "Fair a Jaqa" (i am sure i nailed the spelling)

Thc caldwells all pile into a room at night, which means lots of snuggles with these little ones. Sophia starts out in her own bed, and then wakes up around 5am shouting for "eatmeal". i can usually snuggle her back to sleep.

                                    

 we have mattresses as beds and couches. fun to make life simple and live even more like our neighbors there.

the kids love it, and Layla usually cries and tells us that she does not want to leave.

Of course the best thing about this new adventure is getting to spend so much more time with syrian refugees. Late nights, mornings, afternoons...able to really go deeper into friendship with them.
