when friends come to visit....

We had the wonderful wonderful opportunity of having our dear friends Ken and Beth come and visit. We had so much fun with them...late night talks...lots of arab meals...laughing...beth just loving on our girl ( ken too, claire bear just LOVED beth) it was so restful and yet invigorating to have them here.

I love the wisdom and perspective they bring. After just one day with me picking her brain with all my parenting questions, beth looked at me, smiled and said " oh, mary, you are such a first time mom, you are being too hard on yourself!" ha!! so good to here from a pro.

Ken and Beth love family. they just radiate family. they are looking for healthy signs of family here in our crew in beirut and so wise in leading us into that...

we of course took them to the Cedars...and some of our favorite spots...we love showing off our dear lebanon and just getting out of the city for the day.

fresh air, cute kids, and road trips...great combo
