kopke's birthday

this mama loves parties. very few things get me revved up with expectation than planning party. i love the ideas, themes, decorating, and picturing the "feel" that i really want to be there. and i am so so glad that i have some company in that here. Sarah is a real-deal-party planner.

she effortlessly whips up amazing desserts, soups, appetizers and treats. it is so fun to go to her parties.

it is so fun to have "family" here and for a couple days all we talked about was "kopke's birthday" and we practiced singing happy birthday for him.

but as the years roll on...our love and friendship...experiences and bonding moments just grow richer and fill my little relational heart with treasures...

of course this toot is my highlight. she is getting so fun and social and wanting all the moms to "come" and she shows them things. or cuddles with them. or tries to tell them interesting facts in baby land.
