Visitors

New perspective that is what visitors bring. they see your home with new eyes, your neighborhood, your daily life...and especially your adorable bear. the first day my parents were here we took a walk around the neighborhood.

The traffic struck them the most. the chaos, the business, the way that everything goes in every direction- walkers, scooters, cars, running children, men selling things. It just shouts of life- bustling, busy, crowded city life. this is not a quiet village.

I like this shot close to our home of the mosque near our home.

We forget how lucky we are to have fruit and vegetable stands so close to our home, and picking through the bounty for just the right pieces.

i have been reflecting on how much children open our eyes to see the kingdom of God. and how badly i want my perspective to be changed/challenged/opened.

and i love how just having visitors come and stay with you does the same thing. gives you a new look into your beloved life...

yeah, even mundane things of Claire eating peanut butter and jelly is adorable to them...well....ok let's be honest, her little face is pretty amazing...
