Tea Party

since before i can remember my favorite activity to do with a little girl...is a tea party.

getting dressed up, having treats, talking in accents, or acting all grown up, talking about "our kids", creating a fun setting...this is the joy of having a girl.

So i decided we should start weekly "tea parties" and i know that having a newborn is going to inhibit how extravagant these tea parties are for now...but better to start now than never!

i told claire " do you want to have a tea party?" and she got so excited and ran to her table that we bought for her room. i was so thrilled that she 1) knew what one was 2) was excited 3) we had a little table her size!!!

we sat down, i brought treats...we had fake tea for the first time.

she giggled and grinned from ear to ear the whole time. she loved that we were sitting down, just the two of us, and we both were using the word "darling" like fancy nancy!

it ended with us pressing her fisher price's tea kettle's button and dancing to the song for about 10 minutes. ha!

i love this! my buddy and me!
