The twin’s wedding.

leading up to this wedding was so joyous. We are so overjoyed at john’s life, his future, and his wife. Kathryn and i kept freaking out at what an amazing sister-in-law we are getting.

the wedding was planned by some very creative, artsy, innovative, cutting edge women. every detail coordinated.

i loved all the moments that an out-of-town wedding created. there was the tux debackle, getting lost in a strange city, the rehearsal dinner lua that somehow we all missed the memo and were way overdressed for, and of course all sorts of running back and forth as we prepared for the wedding!

our amazing aunt and cousins made the long trip up and made for such bonding times over the weekend...

it has been 3 years since i have been able to spend time with Hanna ( friend/cousing who i dearly love) and we had such fun catching up as twilight settled over the river boat.

and as Hanna lives in Peru with her littles and we live in Lebanon, of course we wanted to hit up the farmer's market! it was so festive, lively, full of intoxicating smells and treats that this preggo almost caved in one too many times. ( i did buy a snowcone, rasberry pie, and ate 1/2 a corn dog!!)

and the wedding was just perfect. one of the best decorated weddings i have ever been to...every small detail covered. Ceremony beautiful, incredible harmonies and voices by bethany's cousins washing over you, you could feel the holy spirit so strongly. one of the best moments was John's prank: he wrote the vows and had written into bethany's vows " i will take you as my husband and master". she smiled sweetly at him and only repeated "take him as my husband". so composed, bethany so impressive. =)

i thought i might break down weeping ( being emotional and pregnant and so very happy for John), but it felt more like i was swept into a cloud. a cloud of love and commitment and passion and fulfillment. and before i knew it he was kissing her and she was now his bride. bethany beaming and he was glowing and the journey begins for the two of them. wow.

and then came the PARTY, and trust me the O'connor clan knows how to throw a kicking party- food and drinks flowing, music thumping, dance floor happening, whew! what a time!!

this was such a treat for us caldwells to get to share in. so thankful for these milestine moments that we get to be present for! Congrats to John and Bethany Arndt!!!
