more musings from CB
fair warning: this is mostly just so i can remember some of these cute moments....
Because our little sweet friend Yasmin and her family moved back to Holland, we have been having many a conversation of "where God wants them"
" because God wants Gigi in America?"
" I want to hold my baby cousin Sully so bad...but God wants him in africa" where mama responds
yes dear but when they visit America, and we visit, we will get to hold sweet Sully
"No, Mom, God wants him in Africa".
then tonight, we had a spin off.
I was explaining the word "endures" and i was saying how God will never go away, he will never leave. Even if other things we love or enjoy leave or have to go away or end, God never does.
Layla bear says " you know mom Egypt is not very far from Lebanon. and God is in Egypt. Maybe we should go there and see Sarine"
I was amused and will store this up in my heart.
( She learned the story of Joseph in our kids church -and her recall is - he goes to Egypt and even though his family is not there, God is there with him. )
Also- yesterday during lunch i said to drew "we should bring it up at cluster" Layla was looking down and eating a carrot and did not even look up and said " house church, mom".
What? she must have heard drew correct me 100 times always calling house church - cluster! dang!
lastly...i am loving how much Sophia makes Layla laugh. Sophia comes up with some pretty funny antics, but Layla is always watching her and doing it and giggling so hard. it is adorable. today Sophia came in while i was working out to a video and most of the girls have sports bras on in the video, she lifted up her dress and patted her little tummy- it was hilarious!
this is my dog named "bill"
Bill seems very surprised to be photographed during the meal.
i know, i know, i should have asked permission.
