Father's Day

In the swirl of events and visits,  Father’s day hit as we were in Zahle visiting friends. We decided to officially celebrate later that week, but planned a family escape/ picnic.

We heard rumors of a small river we could picnic by and so we set off in search of it. We sang along to the Annie soundtrack and loved driving through small, quaint, Lebanese villages eyes searching for streams and brooks that could eventually lead us to a river.

After no luck, we decided to find a suitable spot with a view and just enjoy one another.

Which with three little tooters means laughing and mediating.  Begging for pics that they won’t give you.

The highlight was a adventure hike they took with baba, while mama and babe cuddled and made animal noises to one another.

We are so overwhelmingly thankful for this Baba- who walks into the door every time ready to put everything down and play. He chases, tickles, sings, makes up games, does puzzles, plays school, watches dances and singing, feeds, changes diapers and he does it all with joy.  He is an incredible example of Joy, selflessness and generosity and our family follows his lead....love you Baba sooooooo much!
