musings of Claire bear

we were walking and the stroller fell slightly into one of the grids of a large drain and sort of jerked forward.

 Layla responded

" oh mama, i really don't want to fall down into that. that would be sooooo sad. but if i did, i would get a big rope and climb out of it. Or...i could just braid my hair real long and then throw it down for someone and then i could climb out of it. "

always thinking. coming up with solutions.

Drew asked her what kind of prince she was going to marry. she  replied " i want to marry a prince like you." drew said that was sweet, but she would probably marry another prince. She said " but i dont want to leave you, maybe we could get married and just go live in that prince's house".

she told me that she was scared of Mr. Mcgregor from our book Peter Rabbit. Then she said " wait mama, i am not in the book! i don't need to be scared, that is just silly!"

  these days she is FULL of ideas, loves coming up with story lines, directives, and we hear all the time

" hey guys, I have an idea..."
