i can rally

i am still in that new stage as a mom that things sound so appealing...and the urge to try and do them outweighs everything else.

the time, the coordinating schedules, the packing, the in-and-out of cars, the bathing and the dressing it all seems to slip from my mind and i just want the memory. to feel mobile and like i can do whatever idea strikes me.

so mel and i packed our three kids in my mini van and drove 45 minutes to a craft bizarre. it sounded cute, artsy, esty and it just felt so right to do this around valentines day.

BUt...our electricity went out right before i left..and drew was gone..so me, all our stuff for a little day trip, and my two little ones went down the 9 flights of staires. i was heaving, muscles were burning, and i was thinking of survivor challenges i had scene to get me through. and when i had both girls seat belted in and all the stuff in the car, i felt triumphant. i really did.

and the outing was so fun. we were delighted with the creativity we found in our friend's little market.

it was so fun shopping around and looking for little treasures.
claire found hers:

things that you just can not find here, ribbons, scrap book paper... new hats...

and i had to buy this hat for claire bear...with leisal and sonja the hostesses!)

it was not the most child-friendly set-up but our kids did amazing. amazing. we found a little cozy corner and set up camp...

fun activities...
i loved these colors...
funny look from sophia...

isaac loves sophia SO much and tries so hard to be sweet to her...

and we rewarded them with a trip to mcdonalds were they could run around and yell and have fun.

i love trying new things and love that i have moms that will do it with me. ( yeah, mel!)
