Valentine's Day...

always fun to think about how to love on you three.

we arranged our weekend to make some extra fun time for cookies, and Valentine's day play dates and a fun couple's party with our church, and then gathering together with the team...

well, the play date fell through...so we jumped in with the Boys and decorated some cookies...

Drew and I had a funny, vivid, Lebanese,  laughing, dancing, extravagant food party with 34 other couples from our church on Saturday night... i love our lives and the places we find ourselves in. The men lined up one by one to declare their love for their wives and present gifts. It was beautiful and awkward and an introvert's nightmare... ha!

We just took it all in and exchanged our love and declarations in private...

Somehow I managed to not take any pictures...so sad.

Then we gathered with the team and did a simple Valentine's Day party.

But the hit, oh the hit, was a jelly bean game that was given to us by the Bonners. There are two jelly beans the same color and they can either be a tasty flavor or a flavor such as: rotten egg, skunk, booger, stinky socks, rotten cheese. And the only way to know is by eating one of the jelly beans. The kids all went first and it was hilarious.  We all had to "pretend" like it was a good taste, and then after we had swallowed we would all vote... if it was the tasty one or gross. There was so much laughter and howling and of course some screaming and some spitting....ha ha ha

Baba bought you girls some little token stuffed animals for your Valentine's day presents, and you all loved them so much...

Hope is into all things that the big girls do, drawing, trying to cut, making valentines...

Taking their monkey and mouse to the grocery store, because they just could not bear to put them down...

we love to love you girlies...
